I did it myself and typed the coordinates.... I got the same black box! The first time someone pointed this out was a couple years ago. It is STILL blacked out? WOW! What's Google hiding? It looks to me like a planet with 4 moons in the original, from 2007!

Hey, I opened that blank area up. it's been cracked, but what's really interesting is the rabbit hole gets deeper. three pictures open up and insert themselves in the spot. Then you will the three pictures on earth, mars and google moon. On earth they are together in the ocean and also separate in different locations. What's really amazing is there is a black box in the desert of the middle east too.
I'm deep in the rabbit hole already and going deeper for everyone.

@tuberaider1000 a weather balloon in space? please explain how. and why would a weather balloon be blocked anyway?? and if the government or someone was tryiing to hide something why would they put an obvious black box and not photoshop a bunch of stars?

@vestibol & tuberaider1000 So you are saying that it is a balloon blocking out Google? May I ask how and why? Is it a round one or a sqaure one?

@vestibol Is the ballon stationary, or in space? I casnt see why they would block out part of space for a weather balloon. But send the link exactly to what you are seeing so I can see it. Thank you. :)

Google sucks data and puts up interface. I.E. most of that black space is when the telescope was not working right or weather was bad. Simply look it up at another source and or you can rent time on bigger telescopes to look what's there.

Thank you. How have you been haven't talked to you in a while? Yes I saw this and wanted to see if anyone knew anything on this. I havn't used Google in a long time.
