@Crossingthewhonivers - Kryptonite won't hurt Superman if it's protected by some other material, like, in this case, stone. If a small piece of kryptonite was hidden inside a lead bullet, it wouldn't hurt him. And in the previous scene, he got some extra strength by exposing himself to the sun, but during the flight the Kryptonite was growing, until it almost reached Superman, and that's why he became weaker and weaker.. god, I'm such a comic-book-nerd!

I like this music but I really luvd this original score/music, especially at the bit from 0:51 cus the music there goes crazy, it reminds me of 2001 wen the monilith is just floating out in space, its really deep music at that bit (If any1 even knows wot Im on bout there lol). But still quite good.

Superman gains his power from the earths Sun - In the scene before this he flew up close to the Sun and collected a good amount of power so to speak. This is what allowed him to lift the island of kryptonite out of earths atmosphere

its funny how supermans hair was flapping about all over the place on earths decent, then when his laying on the ground his hair is gelled back perfectly with the trademark 's' shaped styling at the front lol

So the ammount of Kryptonite in that mountain reduced him to the point that lex could kick his ass. Then he can lift the whole thing later. Epic continuity.
