Blown Away is a land yachting experience company adding a new experience to Scotland's already established reputation for extreme and outdoor sports by becoming the first company to offer land yachting as a fun outdoor activity.
Land yachting combines the grace of sailing with the adrenalin buzz of motor racing -- imagine yourself sitting a few inches from the ground and racing your friends and family across the sands at top speed -- and in addition it's a green activity causing minimal harm to the environment!

In the 1970s I built one of these and sailed it at the shopping mall behind my house. We didn't have balloon tires and so could achieve much better speed than this!

Guys - the experience was fantastic - loved it!! The vid is a bit tame though and doesn't really convey the rush...
