  • @jimmyshitbags If you don't like the music why listen to it? People obviously want to hear something different and untraditional.

  • @jontskinner it was apparently a year ago when I made my comment, but how could I have known I didn't like it if I didn't try to listen to it for that first time? and that would surely have been the first time, it was definitely the last time. still don't get it, lol.

  • @jimmyshitbags Ha - they self-released their own records - I can't imagine anyone would have given them a record deal :-) plenty of people bought them though!

  • God, I hate Buchenwald. Birthdeath Experience, Total Sex and Erector were great, but the rest of 1981-1983 I can't normally stand. Dedicated to Denis Andrew Nilsen was pretty good, I guess, but all of Buchenwald is their worst, in my opinion. Even their '90s stuff was better, and I don't like that era so much, either.

  • ok this is the whitehouse 'stuff' that does nothing for me. i prefer the harsh abusive shouty stuff. put the kettle on, love!

  • @reinventanimals I never knew much about power electronics/noise at all before these last few years. I have Erector and currently have Asceticists, Cruise, and Great White Death on vinyl being shipped to me. Though if it was currently the 80's this would be awesome but unless you grew up around where it was popular I don't think you would even know it exists, internet wasn't there yet or at least not developed for spreading entertainment and everything it has now yet.

  • @squezey1 indeed. probably would have been the fucking shit if I owned their records back in the day though...

  • @reinventanimals I don't like early Whitehouse that much either, maybe because of outdated recording technology they were not able to capture the true power of their sound on a record. Whitehouse now sounds much more powerful and in your face.

  • I'm sorry, I just can't stand early era whitehouse. Their previous works were so much better

  • @xSUPERFUZZx Not always.....

  • I had sex to this. Weird experience...
