  • great video Rikk to record i use the I5 and a SM57 together...I% has great high low end...sm57 has that Classic Mid together...awesome..I use all Audix mic's to record drums...

  • Right on! I am picking up one of their Studio Elite 8 packs to record the drums, guitars, and bass on my next album. We start recording next month so we are all pretty stoked!

  • Not sure what happened to my other post.... Anyhow the Cab Grabber looks awesome!! I heard it did not work with Orange amps but there it is!!! The i5 sounds cool as well. I am definitely going to check one out!! Cool video!!!

p.s. your guy's Nashville video is funny as hell... lol

  • I changed the video a little so I had to delete the other video and re-upload it. Sorry about that....

The Cab Grabber works perfectly on the 1x12 Orange cabs. Its too small for the 4x12 cab however. Just make sure you measure your cab and compare it to what the Cab Grabber will accommodate.

  • Finally a metal guiarrist who knows 9th power chords. I worship him.

  • @ScottWhigham most mics come with a mic clip now. Like the SM57, it comes with a mic clip for it.

  • Hi Rik -

I don't think you touched on this in your video but, just so that people are aware, you cannot use the Audix Cab Grabber with another mic (like an SM57) without spending another $5-$15 to buy a mic clip. The Cab Grabber's threaded end is only 3 inches from the grill cloth and an SM57 + standard mic holder requires at least 4 inches.

If you buy one, prepare to buy a $5-$15 mic clip to make it versatile enough to use with different mics.
