rest in peace my beaten up redoctane :'(

theres a website with some really good metal pads with or without bars..but the prices arent very cheap..even though im ordering mine from there

Question:
So is this the best pad out there right now? I want to hook up a pad to my PC for Stepmania. I did some research and it looks like it boils down to the Colbalt Flux and the Afterburner.

dammit why there isn't any good pad with a handle bar and non-sinking breckets!?!?!
AND WHY THEY DONT MAKE ANYMORE BLUESHARKS???why mymybox...why???

what was the coupon code?
-
Ohh, I decided not to send it back since I didn't want to pay the restocking fee.

great vid, i think this looks like a better investment than the flux.
i think in your next vid of you playing, you should have a camera shot of your feet, so you can see how much it actually moves AROUND

what's the coupon code?
I've been getting questions from different users so I'll go ahead and post an update here.
When I bought the pad there was a "5OFF" coupon/promotion that took 5% off. I don't know if that's still available.
The plastic cover became shredded so I just tore it off. It was a little slick at first but that wore away. It has been working fine lately with no problems.

I bought the same pad and it stopped working in about two days. I really don't recommend this pad, the arrows are sunk in deep and are not good for moving around fast if you flat foot that is.

I did have some problems initially with it, with the serial port becoming loose but once I tightened it with the pins on the side it worked for me. I've heard mixed reviews for this pad to be honest. In the past RedOctane has sent me a defective pad but they replaced it...it was a hassle but at least it didn't cost anything out-of-pocket.
