A maverick is one who is prone to knee jerk emotional responses (just like Bush) instead of well thought out, carefully reasoned responses. Now we are learning the hard way what makes leadership.

Anyone who is calling themselves a maverick should not be in office. A maverick is someone who stands alone, is independent, who doesn't agree with others or work with others. It's their way or the highway. This is a dangerous person to be running the country.

We had a reckless maverick in George Bush look where that got us. But worst yet look at Saddam Hussein, Fidel Castro, Muammar Al-Gaddafi, Kim Jung-il, and Omar al-Bashir just to name a few, all mavericks. We don't want a maverick America.
