49cc DiTech without throttle body in place

The DiTech engine is much like a diesel engine in that the fuel is directly injected into the combustion chamber. Therefore, there is no need for a throttle valve, just the input to the ECU for fuel delivery quantity from the TPS.

This is a stock 49cc DiTech Engine.... no mods.

Actually you could make it work like a diesel by retarding the injection and tweaking the injector to give more fuel, and upping the compression ratio :D

I absolutely LOVE your test bench sir. Great video. It looks weird with just a filter connected to the manifold. It's also nice to see the CVT open and running like that. :) Cheers! ~Josh
