Li Yuchun is China's first idol voted by audience, she received the most votes (3,528,308) in the final contest of Super Girl(similar to the Idol series of contests around the world) in 2005.She also appears on the cover of Time Asia Magazine as Asia's hero.
In Asia, this is the first music movie scheduled released in cinemas. It directed by Andrew Lau, the direcor of Infernal Affairs. (The Departed, due to commercial and critical success of Infernal Affairs, this movie remade by Martin Scorsese in 2006 as The Departed, which went on to win the Academy Award for Best Picture.) Andrew Lau also starred as the leading role in this music moive for Li Yuchun, it is his first time being a starring actor in a movie.
