  • I keep coming back to this video. The live sequencing is superb, you really know how to make a track build. This is real progressive stuff. Hats off.

  • cheers john, i like your shit too, it kicks. i'm working away at the moment hoping to get more vids in near future.

  • nice hardware. I don't really know what exactly is that, if is a mixer or what but looks cool. How much costs one of thoes ?

  • you can connect it to the computer via simple usb to midi interface, and your software daw will recognise, and you can use your piano roll to input it in to korg. it's easy to do, even for a beginner with a bit of help.

  • question. For synth parts can you automate the volume? For instance, since this is a progressive track, can you record the volume being rased in and out? I think that's the one problem I have with sequencers is that I don't see how that part is in the workflow.

  • yeah you can automate the volume, also all the effects, pretty much as you draw the automation in a daw. but in the emx you just record them in real time then play them back

  • wow

  • @LeisureCentury no, it does not support polyphony unless you duplicate the synth channel (which is a complete waste unless recording to a computer). try using unison or detune of some sort.

  • @LeisureCentury

It will play any note or chord you want. It's just that dance music is somewhat modal in the sense that it's not about changing chords, but a dervish type thing on one sound.

  • could'nt tell you, you could connect a midi keyboard to it, or send midi from your daw and it will do it that way

  • You have some great ideas in here (i know the video is pretty old now) but the irregular timing on the changes threw me off a bit. I think it was be much more solid if you added and subtracted the parts in increments of 4 (pref. 4, 8 and 16) I think you waited until like 9 measures to briing in the high hats, then 9 to kick the bass drum. I dunno just a suggestion (as you may have already known this for a year or so. I'd like to see some new vids man.

  • great tune! hopefully i'll get one too next week.

  • Can't wait to start playing with this thing! Waiting for shipment on Ebay now
