Why didn't they keep the cash version too long? I liked it better than the points. Too bad this ended Eubanks career.

And Later on December of 1988 they replaced with Paul Rodriguez and the Apartment-Like set.

As I can tell, the model of the week was what ended Eubanks' tenure as host of this version of TNG and then this cash format improved for a little while but the model of the week was what caused Eubanks to depart from this version.
