RFC 148, "Red Popeye Shirt"

This episode of Radio Free Charleston, "Red Popeye Shirt," features music from the rock opera "MARY" and Frenchy And The Punk, as well as an art film by Rudy Panucci and hot Turkish Superhero Action.

We feature three songs recorded during rehearsals for "Mary." "First Star," "Most Powerful Man In Judea," and "Child, My Child." These songs show off the talents of Jonathan Tucker, Sarah Schiies, Donnie Smith and the cast of "MARY." Thanks to Dan Kehde and Mark Scarpelli for allowing us to bring our cameras in to a rehearsal before the full orchestra or the microphone techicians were on hand. This is the fifteenth year that "Mary" has been presented by The Contemporary Youth Arts Company.

Thanks also to Samantha Stephenson and Scott Helland, AKA Frenchy And The Punk, who let us use their music video for "Dark Carnivale" in this week's show.
