I have just bought a 54 in monitor that is in great condition and I'm trying hook it up to my xbox. I have the cords to hook up the xbox to a hdtv (red/yellow/white/blue/green/e
ct) Can i use this cord for doing the same thing you are? I also have a receiver that is hooked up to a shit load of speakers. So the red/white cords should just get put into it? -

@ADEAZE907 it depends. if your computer input is vga then buy a vga cable if it is dvi or hdmi buy a hdmi cable

just buy a cable from walmart called an HDMI one. they are specifically made by microsoft. You can just plug that into the back, then the other end into the back of your computer or computer monitor.

call of duty 4 is hella old, and is there any way i can hook it up to my computer with the normal av cables?

No not with the standard cables. But their is a new cable called an HDMI cable. If your monitor is newer it might have that input in the back. This cable is now made for xbox and you can find them at k/mart/ walmart.

alright, so you will have your red and white cables for sound. do you have any sort of stereo, with the inputs for red and white? I have a logitech surround sound system, so I just plug it into their.
