Simca Talbot Solara 1981

Dit is mijn 6 juni 2009 aangeschafte Talbot Solara. Het is een GLS van 15-Jan-1981. Een erg mooie auto qua model. Een plezierige auto om in te rijden, hij heeft echter nog wel een goede opknapbeurt nodig, die waarschijnlijk eind 2009 gedaan zal worden. Ook wil ik er dan LPG laten inbouwen. Hopelijk is dus begin 2010 deze auto in orde en kan hij op NL kenteken de het wagenpark in Nederland verrijken. De auto heeft ook een heerlijke jaren 80 kleur. This is my Talbot Solara, bought in France (Agen). Its from 15-january-1981. It´s a beautiful car if you look to its model. A very pleasant car to drive, it still needs a proper reparation, this will probably be done in the end of 2009. Also I have the intention to put in LPG in this car. Hopefully this car wil be okay for the dutch road in the beginning of 2010. The car has got a typical 80´s colour. I have uploaded this film because I want the rest of the world to know what a nice car this is, unfortunately it´s a totally forgotten model, and currently very rare.

Non, cette voiture ne va pas à la démolition, mais est actuellement en cours de restauration. Malheureusement, le sol n'était pas bonne, et dans de nombreux endroits que nous allons à la soudure. Dans cette rubrique, consacrée à Simca Talbot, les photo´s sont disponible par une message privé.

The video was made by me, the brand of the car is officially a Talbot (Formar known as the brand Simca, per 1-1-1980 this brand was changed into Talbot) this is a French brand, known for it´s rust problems, but this car is very comfortable and is really a very smooth car to drive...

Nou, dat is omdat men de verbondenheid met Simca bij het koperspubliek wilde houden.. vandaar dat nog tot diep in 1981 de merknaam Simca op de achterklep handhaafde, om de bekendheid te vergroten, Talbot is natuurlijk ineens abrupt per 1-1-1980 ingevoerd bij de overname. Het is echter een Talbot officieel, maar het naamplaatje is dus wel origineel...

MY FATHER HAD THIS CAR. IT WAS VERY CONFORTABLE LARGE AND NON EXPENSIVE, BUT WHEN WAS THE RAIN HAD PROBLEMS TO START!! (WATER IN THE MOTOR, I SUPPOSE) I DON'T KNOW WHY, BUT HAPPENED. MY FATHER CHANGED THE CAR AFTER FEW TIME, IT WAS NECESSARY. BUT I LIKED THIS CAR IT WAS VERY EASY TO DRIVE AND I USED IT FOR MY FIRST HOLIDAYS ALONE ... NOSTALGY!!!!
