It's a song from John's solo lp 'Total Control' on Epic Records - 1987. Goran sings lead on 3 of the songs.

Yes, he is a guitarist and adored by many young guitarists as a guitar hero. He was born in 1964 or so.
He was in a rock band named Europe in 1982-1988 when he lived in Stockholm, Sweden, and left that band and released solo albums in 1990's and now he has backed to the Europe and played with his old friends.
He came from Norway and still has a citizenship of Norway.
