Add of Bajaj Pulsar220 "the fastest indian" The Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi from Pulsar family of motorcycles from Bajaj Auto was produced between 2007 and 2009 when it was replaced by the Pulsar 220 DTS-i. Features differentiating this bike from other members of the DTS-i family include oil cooled, fuel injected engine, front and rear disc braking, tubeless tyres, a digital speedometer console (recently introduced in all other Pulsar editions) and parabolic/ellipsoidal projector headlamps.
Bajaj displayed the 220 DTS-Fi at the Delhi Auto Expo 2006. The Indian nationwide launch happened in July 2007.
Successor

A new Pulsar model, the 220 DTS-i which has a constant-velocity carburetor instead of fuel injection, is the successor to the fuel injected 220 DTS-Fi.[2] DTS-Fi production and distribution was halted in 2009.
Performance Improvements

The Bajaj has claimed its Pulsar 220 as the Fastest Indian. By turning back to carburetor Engine from Fuel injection, the new 220 has improved on power from 20 bhp (15 kW) to 21 bhp (16 kW). The Engine is tuned to give an improvement in the top speed, which is now 144km/h.
The new 220 DTSi is way cheaper than 220 DTS-Fi

pulser is a copy bike that is why it comes out cheap.

now worthy and 2002 karizma can come up to standards of 2006 pulser 220 and karizma r of 2006 is still runing with 100k km and still no bore problems 70k+ pulser is out to bore change or power down it becomes grandma

i dont know why ppl get mad when they hear truth the whole world knows pulser is waste. u was a pulser used till 2009 now i have my ZMR and my brother use R15 ui just told from experiance and bajaj ppl take parts from diffreent bikes copy and redesign them. that is why TVS files a case on bajaj for copy of FI now no pulser has FI. u have to know the truth only problem with u noobs is that if you own a bike u ppl feal that the bike u use is the best mark my words 70% india ignore pulser now

lol pulser suks in quality. look at the speedo meter omg . it is shit compeared to ZMR and R15. rough use for 6months then the bike is gone to dogs.
