How can you tell if it has a TV module or not? I'm buying a '99 740iL on Tuesday, so I don't know about the module or not. I know you can buy one for bout $160. And what are you playing the DVD through? I've noticed that you can buy factory DVD players to replace the NAV drive. Is that what you've done? I see that you've done this, but you haven't really given any information on how. Please send me an IM, I'd like to learn how so I can do it to mine.

@clifford850r If your in the USA the cars do not have a TV module, if you want to add it you need a bracket, wire harness and the TV module, if you want to play DVD in the car best thing to do is to search for Pie BMW/NAV-EYE1
