General Invincible - The Master Trains Lady General

Although I'm working on a video that will actually contain something akin to original content, it always irritates me to see the one video on my channel page.

So, here is a clip from General Invincible (Cheung Paang-Yi, 1983), on of the last movies starring Taiwanese actress/producer/director Pearl Cheung Ling. One of the worst dubs combined with Basil Paledouris' theme "The Anvil of Crom" from Milius' Conan the Barbarian stolen for the scoring, Adam Cheng, and incoherent direction meet with Pearl's utterly unhinged performance, resulting in a sort of perfect storm of weird.

I kinda like it.

Yeah, that was the review I wrote after the first time I watched it, something I've been meaning to remove from there. I've since given it a second chance and my views have changed a bit. I have a different review on the FLK forums that more accurately sums up my feelings on this one. It's weird.

I'm not sure.. But this might be one of those movies that will fool you.. I bought one of Pearl Cheuing's movies and was very disappointed (Wolf Devil Woman). Only the last 7 minutes of the movie was actually worth watching.. This clip makes me pretty curious because this is the only part that was ever posted. If someone can post a clip of more action on this movie, it would be very much appreciate. Thanks.
