@proctor940 f you know anything about music and FUNK to be exact you would know who the other guitar player is he is a legand himself TONY MAIDEN IS the funk master of all time The Artist "PRINCE" has said that TONY MAIDEN is his mentor. With all do respect Sly is a living legand he played the part on the oringnal recording with his borther Freddie Stone playing lead guitar which is what Tony Maiden was doing, and how the funk do you vamp at the intro to a song just keeping real.

@nardo8869 Sly created a simple funk line. Whoever the other guitar player is , is over playing the funk. How can you defend some other guitar player playing someone else's song. Sly is bad. Funk is repetition at its core. It is called vamping.
