This video represents 3 weeks growth in nutrient agar of the debris in a human lesion. This is after the subject has taken antibiotics - not specific to this bacteria - and an antifungal. This is believed to be: Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

  • I do not think that this is the aeruginosa. It should be more elongated. Very nice video. ;)

  • I don't think what you have photo'd is Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Mainly as its the wrong shape Pseudomonas is a rod shaped bacteria. Also at 100X magnification Pseudomonas would still be tiny. To me it looks far more like a fungi, have you tried KoH staining?
