My God...Judy was breathtakingly beautiful back then.And the vesion of In My Life she put on her album was one of the very best things she ever did...but she ruined it in this performance.Got too "creative".

Judy could sing a restaurant menu and leave a lump in your throat. It's a pity Bette Midler didn't listen to Judy's rendition before she trotted out a badly sung schmaltzy version of this Beatles masterpiece which has been posted on youtube with gushy comments from obviously tone deaf admirers.

Judy's interpretation from her '66 LP of the same name was my first exposure to the song, and I think she perfectly captured the looking-back, reflective quality of the lyrics. Beautiful, understated version!

Well one of the best solo versions shall we say, I and many others like the Original version by the Beatles best of all but this is a lovely version, beautyfully sung by Judy Collins.
