【WARNING: SPOILERS】

As the first Gate is destroyed by Impa, to prevent Ghirahim from kidnapping Zelda, Link must open the second hidden gate within the Sealed Temple in order to re-unite with Zelda. With the blessing of the Goddess Hylia, Link obtains the true Master Sword.

Skyward Sword became easily my top favorite by it's astounding soundtrack, characters and more involvement of both Link and Zelda co-operating together in one game. With the exception of short dungeons (personally, I found Twilight Princess' to be longer). I just had to upload this scene in particular, because it shows character and development. You can say this is one of my favorite scenes so far in Skyward Sword.

Will upload more as I progress.

  • This moment in the game caught me by surprise. I mean, everything comes together at this point. The Master Sword awakens (from it's 'slumbering' state- as seen in Wind Waker), and you find out that Zelda is the goddess Hylia incarnate. It literally blew my mind. o:

And it was oh so sad to see Zelda seal herself after just being with her childhood friend after such a long time. But I feel there was significance in this. You (Link) feel motivated to defeat Demise, and awaken Zelda. A promise.

  • @SmashKun

Absolutely agreed. I honestly think Skyward Sword put Zelda in a better role than any other and I like that. Seeing Link and Zelda both as childhood friends means something more than just -hero to princess- and I think that's what Nintendo wanted to do for some fans of the series.

So many things in Skyward Sword I could go on about that I liked from previous Zelda games and I believe Nintendo truly outdone themselves on this game in terms of the characters.

  • "I'm still your Zelda." hit me hard.

  • lol so cute > u <

    I love Groose

:3 I've played many Zelda games out of my 14 years of life, I grew up on this series...

For the 25th anniversary of the series, this was great

This game was amazing with the characters

Unlike the usual plot of saving whoever and whatever

You developed relationships with the people in this game

I had an amazing feeling, like the one I had when I was 4 and played OOT

    Just that "wow.." speechless feeling

  • I see that you've got some luck in that wallet~

Even though I have some idea about what Groose was going to say to Link it still feels like I have to actually know. x_x

THAT. THAT MOMENT WHEN A GAME CHARACTER'S FRIEND LOOKS AWAY FROM HIM/HER. I hate when I see that motion during a conversation in a game because you just KNOW there's gonna be an odd little twist that's been kept from you.

Thank god in this case it wasn't really a bad thing at all though unlike some other games.

  • 1:45 LOL, Groose! :P

18:17 I just love that song. It's so simple yet so moving.

  • I have to admit, this was the most emotional story in any Zelda game. This scene between Zelda and Link is enough to back my claims.
