You've got the nicest little train at an amusement park. Powered by coal is unusual for a train at an amusement park.
The engine number 1919 is in tribute to the late Lee W. Merrick's birth year.
Lee W. Merrick died August 5, 2011.

Are those authentic Sandley coaches, or did you folks build them from scratch?

Those coaches where built in house, from scratch. They are larger then Sandley coaches.

It there a substacial difference in 15" and 16"?

No substancial difference in the gauges. Equipment runs the same and the equipment is pretty much the same except for the track gauge.
