  • Yes I would recommend external bearing bb's. They're cheap (unless you choose expensive ones!) and easy to install, providing you have the correct tools. I've done a lot of miles on this bike and I reckon the bb's lasted a decent amount of time before replacement was necessary.

  • I am thinking about installing external bearing bb. I commute every day uphills with "cargo" in my backpack so the cranks get used quite a bit. You said you"ve installed the 3rd set of bb-s. Would you still recommend them?
