  • Just watching this woman brings joy to my heart...because she is filled with joy herself and expresses that to her listeners. Thank you, "Jackie" for simply being YOU! Another trait of "Jackie's" is her great sense of humor...If you watch, she has an inward glow that shines right through my computer screen. Thank you, "Jackie", Thank you "coloraturafan" for posting this and thank you to YOU TUBE!

  • @oakroom48 - totally agree :D

  • Oh this is indescribable!! Impossibly wonderful in every way .. such charm :D Great accompanist, too!

  • I LOVE HER SOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH SHES SOOO COOL XXX

  • ohhh I LOVE!!!!!

  • such extrordinary control, such agility for a heavy voice, absolutely among the greatest. thanks .

  • She just must be one of the greatest singers of all time. Also a very great, intelligent and wonderful lady! Thanks for this!

  • I remember all kinds of opera singers and musicians on the Tonight Show, including one week when Beverly Sills was the MC of the show. I cannot imagine Leno or Conan with anyone of class on their shows these days. The dumbing down of America, indeed! Today only Joyce DiDonato comes to mind as one with the personality and talen to do it, but that will never happen I am sure!

  • oh this is just FANTASTIC. First off, there's an opera singer on Carson. Can you imagine that happening now? She's singing Borgia, which is just super, and she's sitting next to Angie Dickinson...wow...

  • So she was actually planning on singing the role of Lucrezia? Why didn't she ever sing the role later on?
