@rastaischill The Cryonics Institute does suspensions for 28k. Through Life insurance that is less then a pack of ciggarettes. A typical heart transplant costs 650K and could kill you. If cryonics doesnt work you cant get any deader then dead. If it does work then this woman will look as silly as those who once thought that heart transplants or a round earth was silly. She smirks and laughs while providing ridiculous future scenarios but presents zero facts what so ever..thats not science!!!

This was a very irrational critique of cryonics. 1st the cryonics institute does cryonics for 28K and through insurance this is much cheaper then a heart transplant which btw could actually kill you. She says that she thinks the mind doesnt just reside in the head? OK based on what scientific evidence. Mnay nuerologists would disagree. Or that aliens might make you a sex slave or a bunch of other ridiculous assumptions about the future. There was no logical or rational debate what so ever here!

I would consider doing this. The price really should be looked at as nonexistent. If you pay 200k and it doesn't work, who cares? You are dead. However if you pay 200k and it does work.. well you are alive again. And who's to say that the monetary system won't be totally different when you are revived anyway?

If you want to maximize your chances of survival by cryonics, it's important to take action now to boost the research on cryobiology.
