Once made famous for it's canal, High Falls remembers its origins with the D&H Canal museum located in the heart of the town adjacent to a portion of the canal and 5 locks. If you're around for the warmer months, stop by the town's weekly Flea Market every Sunday. And, of course, you can't miss the spectacular waterfall fed by the Rondout creek. High Falls is the place for you if you live for unique local cultures, history and natural wonders as its residents, neighbors, and returning visitors do.

This is a great little community. You can kayak, great little shops, it has the rail trail, and great resturants.
