This is me against an SRT-4 and newer (not newest) WRX STi. The neon was running 20 psi with larger injectors and reflash and the WRX had a K&N intake, exhaust, 16 psi and race fuel. I had a lead on the SRT-4 by a car and a half the first race, and 3 cars the second. The STi only took what it could get from the launch, and on the rolls had NO LAG! That took me off guard and took the win because of that.

  • How much boost was the prelude running?

  • @bluebearchris1987 Ah, that was so long ago... I think at that time I was running 11-12 pounds. The ignition map wasn't dyno tuned, so it was around 210/185. Sad, I know. LOL

  • @bluebearchris1987 On a straight T3, BTW.

  • yup sti ownage no doubt ahahahahhahahaah weak tec ahahahahhaha

  • weak tec? vtec didn't come into mass production until 1993. ahahahahahaha.

  • ya i know that sti and i know its alot faster now. and when this was filmed it just had a intake and catback exhaust and a 3400lbs 4 door car also.

  • yeah, i know that, too. i talked with him just a few weeks ago. i've made some changes as well, but i'm no longer in competition with him or anyone else in yuma. i no longer live there.

  • firstly I'd like to point out that you're a dumb shit, there's no vtec, like he said vtec didn't come out until 91 and didn't come in us ludes until 93

  • yeah its an h22 though and I want lots of turbo lag for daily driving since I never go over 3500 rpm when on my way to work/school.

and with that turbo Im expecting 10 pounds of boost at around 3700-3800.

  • nice; i'll be sure to check it out when you get it posted. good luck with your build! sounds like it'll be monstrous with that turbo.
