Muscle Cramping and sickness usually are related to if you aren't hydrated enough before giving and if you didn't eat enough before. The thing I like about the Plasma places are how friendly the staff is, and the place is as clean if not cleaner than a doctors office. PLUS, you get to sit in a lounging position and watch tv. I usually use the time to read a book.

#1 eat at least two hour before you donate plasma!!

#2 drink 2 bottles of water, at least an hour before you donate plasma

Rather than waiting til I got there, wasted gas, and wasted time trying to sign in. Its not like I'm that hard to negotiate with. But I drove away thinking..."There's a better reason that this happened. Its more than just a vid you posted that you're not doing it. Its because there's a better way than this."

Donating is not done for health. Its for chump change to either buy gas , groceries, or drugs with. Most are buying drugs. ..Therefore,how can they stay healthy enough to keep donating

But no hard feelings to Octapharma. Its funny that just before going in there, I was thinking about how I really ought to stop doing it. I was thinking it would be funny if what people do on the internet impacted their donations...and then that happens. :) I was one of their most regular donors, with record breaking donation times and veins that make any doctor impressed. It would've been cool if they could have called or posted if they didn't like my vid though , rather than...

I don't know whether to blame the donation or the lifestyles of the donors. But 2 times a week can not be healthy. I have donated since sept 2009 and today it has just occurred to me to stop it all in entirety. I just got deferred today for posting a FUN video on my exp at octapharma plasma today. Some guy was mad that his face was in it....yeah. THEY REALLY NEED THAT LIFE SAVING PLASMA HUH?! I dont even go for the money. I liked the people. But 30 - 45 dollars a week?...not worth it.

Therefore its only a matter of time before an accident happens. ...and machines. what happens when that machine screws up and puts air in your veins? ...It can happen.

Donating plasma shows mankind's sickness. ADDICTION. Its all for drug money. Look at all the people around you when you donate. THINK. They are all fallen in. They just do not look healthy. They ask you up front if you've participated in homosexual activities, then you will see obviously gay people in there. Obvious dope addicts as well. Donating may be a good thing but the "most generous" donors, are actually there for other reasons than helping people.

@atkins316, I recently started donating plasma and was wondering what some of the long-term detriments to donating frequently might be. I have looked on many sites for possible risks (aside from the obvious complications from not being hydrated enough) and I haven't come across anything alarming on any legitimate sites. Having read your comment I was wondering if you have anything to back up what you are saying?

What am I full of BULL about? nothing, do your research before sticking up for something that kills you. Ya "donating" every once in a while wouldn't be bad, but when you do it two times a week never taking a break you do the math.

You, my friend, are full of BULL. You claimed on another video that you also worked for ZLB. Seems like you have an issue with plasma donation. Fair enough. Still, to lie and deceive people is detrimental to your cause. What makes you any different than those "For profit" corporations?
