Intersting. I just came across a couple of creatards who argued similarly, that their freedom of speech was being squelched by bullying criticism from atheists. One of them went so far as to demand that the U.S. Congress and Parliment "investigate" YouTube atheists. The purpose of said "investigation" was uncertain but my impression was that it would form a basis for denying the right of atheists to criticise religion, specifically his religion.

Christopher Hitchens once gave a speech specifically about this topic, and it really opened my eyes as to the true nature of free speech. Essentially, not only does everyone have the right to voice their opinions, but everyone else has not just the right, but in fact, the obligation to present their own dissenting opinions. Truly politically incorrect opinions deserve not only equal protection to be stated, heard, and critiqued, but in fact extra. The speech can be found in its entirety on YT.
