Ignition components get sprayed with water and dirt constantly when you drive your car. They are protected against this and if you can trigger arcing like this by spraying water on your coils then those coils are faulty and should be replaced.

@stellaspeed10 usually they are less then $50. I would defiantly recommend replacing the spark plugs and spark plug wires about once a year. It isn't that expensive and does help. I like to replace them more then most people just because I love my engine and I can't have it die on me when I am in the middle of a desert. 50,000 miles is probably good for most cars though. To everyone else. Please listen to this guy and replace them!!!!!

I wouldnt use water......the way i test, pull it, see if theres spark....99% of the time i shock the shit out of myself lmao
