Because Jason says it better than I'm able to...

Here's his version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InPqlgnzWXo&feature=related

I based the chords and capo placing based on his YouTube video - not his version of this song on the album The Magnificent Adventures of Heartache (And Other Frightening Tales).

Hearts Are Magnets by Jason Reeves

Its not your fault I can never get you off my mind
But still you're gonna have to pay for it
Because all I ever see is your smile
And its obvious that this is beyond both of us

Because hearts are magnets pulling us together
And out of nowhere our fingers turn to feathers
And all that I want is so simply
Just to see you when you wake up with no make up
And your sweatpants with your hair undone

So its not my fault that you have got the most endless eyes
And I can't help but fall into them
So I'm not gonna fight it this time
Because it's obvious that this is beyond both of us

Because hearts are magnets pulling us together
And out of nowhere our fingers turn to feathers
And all that I want is so simply
Just to see you when you wake up with no make up
And your sweatpants with your hair undone

Don't you run away without me dear
Don't you try to say its all in my head
Because I don't believe it, I don't believe in...no I don't

Because hearts are magnets pulling us together
And out of nowhere our fingers turn to feathers
And all that I want is so simply
Just to see you when you wake up with no make up
And your sweatpants with your hair undone

  • hey i've been trying to figure out tab you're playing...i think it's capo on fret 9, but what exactly is the chord progression if you don't mind? thanks!

  • I'm thinking about buying a Taylor soon. I'm using a Martin DX1R at the moment. It rocks but I want one that I can plug in. Anyway, nice cover and you are very cute :)

Thanks for your nice comment on my cover of this song. Take care!
