I think big pharmaceutical companies would rather continue making antidepressants that don't work, sending depressed people from one failed drug to the next, in such a way that drug companies can really juice the consumer, so to speak
@Zaban94 how long do you think from direct methamphetamine which is alot more potent stimulant and cause the brain to release way more dopamine and serotonin
@roseapple73 mdma causes the over release of serotonin and Dopamine and thus over time you run out of those chemicals because your brain hasnt had time to regain and recover...if mdma is used only once or twice in 2 weeks its alright because the chemicals will replenish , if not then each time you do it the euphoria will no longer exist and soon the user will become depressed.
@kevinlyonsfougere i guess i was referring to the use in relation to the ptsd.. what about the impact it has on the seretonin? is this true that it lowers those levels? kind regards
@roseapple73 .. of mind the individual is so the question is how could this product be regulated so that its not given to children, or people looking to kill themselves, or just people in severe depression who might take this to temporarily eleviate stress but in the end lead to further trauma and depression..i think this one of those substances that if went legal would be like ciggerettes except people would die quicker although in the long run there probly wouldnt be as many deaths.
@roseapple73 to be honest MDMA is a very powerful substance, i know from personal experience that unless you are a mature person who knows how to handle themselves then this is one substance that could very well lead to death and overdose.. so in order for it be legal to the community it would have to be somewhat regulated and sold to only those who can handle it... it doesnt hold much medical important in terms of physical but can do wonders on the brain both good and bad depending on the state

@kevinlyonsfougere You're neurotransmitters will replenish almost 100% after 6 months of abstaining from MDMA.
