The Separatist Union is the best. They can mass produce indeed, but they don't only fight with Droids, look at Selucami and Moorja. there the CIS also used Droids, and the commanders are better like Grievous, Sev'rance Tann and Pors Tonith. The CIS never lost the war, Palpatine made them lose, Palpatine told grievous location, Palpatine let dooku die, Palpatine let anakin execute the Separatist Council.
