There's nothing wrong with that mindset, but in the end we STILL have a two party system. One party is aligned with your mindset, and one isn't. If you can think for yourself, then you can puzzle your way through to which is which.

It's not just that political parties "suck", but that gov't itself inherently "sucks", or as our nation's founders put it, gov't is a necessary Evil.

Thus, the less of it the better. That's the mindset of Conservatism. Socialists hiding under the L-word disagree.

You are pounding the nail on the head. A strong principled conservative always mops the floor with the lefties. The fact that McCain was not annihilated is a clear indication that a strong conservative, unafraid to expose his opponents myriad vulnerabilities (ie a d#$m socialist) would have handily defeated this American catastrophe in the making.

She was right....it was Obama that won. Remember this was mid Feb 08...it did not seem that obvious at the time. I hope everyone's happy. Even Ann Coulter knew that Hillary would have been the best among the three of them.
