  • Hi Doug I have a friend whose name is also Doug Smith and he is a phenomenal musician. You can find him at DougandDave (dot) net He is as wonderful a songwriter as a musician. Go to his site and go to Listen.

  • @dsmithguitar ..I favored this on my channel even though my youtube channel is dedicated to cats. No matter how much I like something, I don't favor it on my channel if it is not cat related. UNTIL THIS CAME ALONG. I hope you don't mind being buried in cats on my channel Doug..lol.

This has to be your crowning achievement right? I mean its all great but this piece of music is perfect. Music can not be made better than this.

  • Thanks for the comments! This originally appeared on an American Gramaphone CD called DayParts - Dinner under a different title, The Charitable Charlatan. Since it incorporates Classical, Renaissance and Baroque elements (there's a nod to JS Bach at the beginning), I renamed it in honor of my favorite prog-rock band that also dabbled in those elements. And hopefully tab will be forthcoming soon. - Doug

  • When I first bought 'Dinner', I thought this was the greatest thing I had ever heard. I still think it is. I'm used to it ending very abruptly. I loved that about it. But this is still by all means astonishingly incredible.

  • @LordFancourt do u know how much longer it would take lol. dude this stuff isn't just made up, memorized and mastered in a day. i guarantee u it took weeks-months to master this, and this guy is GOOD. seriously know one really understands how hard it is to play an instrument especially guitar with this kind of proficiency, let alone stuff like THIS.
