It is the second prototype of MAVSTAR is a custom-made coaxial helicopter driven by a pair of powerful brushless motors. It carries MPU, ultrasonic range finder, IMU and XBee. It is developed by CMR@UNSW. Website: cmr.mech.unsw.edu.au

  • wat type of control system did u use?? thats the only problem im having with mine!!

  • In the video, the helicopter is manually controlled and its pitch, roll and yaw motions are stabilized by P controllers in an on-board microcontroller connected to a 2-axis accelerometer and an 1-axis gyro as feedbacks. For the other similar helicopter, I designed 4 PD controllers which autonomously controls the helicopter.
