  • Less than 1 in 100 diamond bearing kimberlite pipes is worth mining industrially.

You can pan or sift diamonds but its not like gold as diamonds are barely heavier than quartz sand. They show up with garnets so concentrates are of a lot lower grade than when you do small scale placer gold mining.

You can buy diamond dredges for anything from 5k on up to millions. You can use wash plants and jigs, you can crush blue ground and use and x ray separator. There are many ways.

  • lies lies all lies. haha. but honestly?

  • $378,420,256.89 plus tax.

  • how much does it cost to get a mine goign?

  • People think because I'm no longer there that you are not affected. Just because I'm here in the U.s does not mean I forget my homeland.

  • i truelyhope a brighter future awaits sierra leone for it seems around such large sums of money there isa real need forstrong unified social values enforced by a belief in the sovereign state, in which there is no place for corruption. tending towardeducation and infrastructural investment would beawise way to spend so everybody can feel some empowerment from this....

  • Why is our country so people with all those minerals we have can somebody tell me why Oh God .We should be rich Ilove sierra leone krio boy/mende

  • I hope the company invests back into the country to build infrastructure not just make money and live the country.

  • I have been to SL and will be moving there in a few months to assume duties as the Contract Manger for security at the U.S. Embassy. SL is ripe for investment and I would encourage everyone to check it out. I love SL and am looking forward to living there.

  • The fight to elimatepoverty in my country has to do with attracting foreign investors to creat jobs and employment for our nation. This is exactly what am doing here in Finland. I THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR COMMENT.
