@madeinthevalleys23 But the cartoon is different; Not only are BJ and Lydia best friends, it's pretty clear they care about each other a lot. Like, there's even one episode where Lydia gets a boyfriend-Beetlejuice gets jealous and sabotages their date. (Which really backfires)
I don't really like the pairing in the movie, either, but in the show they're awesome!

It's strange how these two seem to have become an iconic couple seeing as in the film lydia can't stand Beetlejuice and he's only after her to stay in the human realm! Plus he's a pervy old dead guy and she's a teen!

My fav is the anime at 1:20 and beetlejuice and lydia at 1:29. Even though BJ would freak out if he were ever that refined and clean looking. Just sayin! Nice vid! Even though aint BJ and Lydia just friends or what? I know in the original movie Lydia dont really wanna marry BJ but in the cartoons its like BJ has a total crush on Lydia. He'll do anything to make Lydia happy!
