KH RE:CoM - Boss Sleights

This video displays the Sleights of all the major bosses. None of the disney bosses are shown. Vexen, Riku Replica, Larxene, Axel, and Marluxia are shown. The end of the video shows a few attacks that aren't slieghts but are just as powerful or cool looking.

Anyway, if you don't know, Sleights are special attacks where you queue up 3 cards and then use those 3 cards for a special move. You can use any combination, but only certain combinations will give you the special attacks. You have to learn the special attacks before you can do them too. These bosses all seem to have 3 different sleights. They queue the cards up just like you do. So it's advised to watch them so you know when they're doing a sleight.

The great things about Sleights are that they can break any single card your opponent uses, and vice versa. There's two ways to break a Sleight. Either you have to use a 0 numbered card, which breaks ANY card, or you have to build up a Sleight that is equal to or larger than their sleight, with the values of each card added up. If your sleight equals there, both of the sleights are broken. If yours is higher, you break their sleight and use yours. A 0 card breaks and attempts to attack. You have to plan out which Sleights you need to break and which you don't, because some sleights you can dodge with Dodge Roll, while others you can't. Anyway, here's a description of the fights:

Vexen: Easiest org member fight. All of his Sleights can be dodged. My favorite is his ice sword sleight. It'd be cool if he kept that move. The rest are meh.

Riku Replica: This is the 4th fight I recorded. It's argubly one of the hardest fights in the game. Two of his sleights can be dodged, but his Dark Aura you HAVE to break or you're most likely going to die unless you're at full HP.

Larxene: She's fast, just like in KH2FM. She doesn't clone herself, but her attacks are just as deadly. One of her Sleights you can dodge pretty easily, the other you can't at all, and the one that stuns you is POSSIBLE to dodge but hard to avoid all the lighting.

Axel: For me, Axel was the hardest fight in the game, it took me the most tries. He spams Sleights like crazy. Only one is Dodge Rollable. The worst is his Fire Cutter or whatever it's called. If that connects with you, expect to either die or be in critical HP. The other one isn't so damaging but still not fun. The other crappy thing about Axel is he has lots of 0 cards that he likes to use to break your Sleights, so try not to use any sleights that aren't instant on him (Trinity, Lethal Frame, etc).

Marluxia #1: Easy fight, just make sure you break his sleights, he has low defense but is very powerful. Fortunately he's slow, and doesn't use Sleights too often.

Marluxia #3: Exact opposite of previous fight. He spams sleights in groups like there's no tomorrow. 4-4-4 is very powerful if you get caught in it, so try to break it. 5-5-5 isn't too bad and might be dodge rollable but break it if you can. 6-6-6 you CAN dodge it seems, but it isn't easy. 7-7-7 scatters your cards. But it seems Marluxia doesn't attack right away after it, so it's not too bad. 8-8-8 just blows you back.

Anyway, I realize I left out Riku's org fights, because I haven't recorded any yet. I probably will eventually but not now. All of these are only Sora's versions (obviously). Oh, and since these were recorded for the only purpose of showing Sleights, don't comment on why my deck is setup stupid (such as Fire cards against Axel).

I think the hardest battle in the game is when you fight rukus replica fo the last time, that little twit just keeps doing sleights, and its even harder on the gba version! DX
