Or ... the Cars sound like FM. They both emerged around the same time. Although early FM was much better. Black Noise is one of my favourite albums.

The girl in this video had a stage name (she was an exotic dancer aka stripper) named Holly Woods (not to be confused with the lead singer in the band 'Toronto')
She came thru the Alberta strip club scene a few times in the 80's.
