Hey I liked this video.

I really want to be able to record the songs we make (our band). And I was wondering if I could use my home cinema/hifi speakers and receiver instead of studiomonitors? The thing is I love the sound from my Monitor Audio RX6 and it would be shame if I can't use them.

@aXque yea you probably could. if you can get your speakers to be hooked up the same way monitors are you can do it no problem. i haven't done it before so i can't give you any advise on how to, but i know it probably can be done.

ok 2 questions: on my mixer i have the output but the end is 3.5mm and i just connected that to my pc throught the holt that shows ( a mic lol) is that right?. second question my mixer has the headphone jack in it, i can use that or i need all that stuff u used there to use ur headphones?

If you keep getting cymbals made of the B8 alloy, they will keep breaking because its a pretty weak metal, thats why they are so cheap.

a very noob question .. so basically you get mics connected to an audio mixer and from dere you connect it to the laptop ?? so do you mix on the laptop program or mixer ?? and how much is the mixer for a basic one ?

does the Mixer have phantom power?? and also, when you record with mixcraft, does the song ever like skip or lag when your recording?? Because I seem to have that problem :/
