When we got outside we thought we had seats but how wrong we were. We were like the regular people who came FOR FREE and we paid $2000. We didn't get to see nothing and we kept being pushed around and stuck in uncomfortable positions. I only faintly heard Prez. Obama swearing in and we left DURING his speech. We were supposed to eat at a restaurant that was going to be next to the parade but we didn't because we were sitting on the bus waiting to leave, FOR 2 HOURS. When we finally ate lunch at a place that wasn't on our schedule it was a little past 5 o'clock. Then after we ate, my friend passed out. She got back up a few minutes later but I was scared she couldn't go to the ball with us but she did feel fine a while after so I was happy. Finally when we went to the ball (3 hours past the schedule) it was the best time we had the whole trip. They had good music, food, and good looking ladies (well girls my age, but seriously they were HOT especially the girls I was hanging out with). We finally got back at the hotel AT 1 O"CLOCK in the morning and we had to wake up like 4 hours later and let me tell you that our sleep hours were ridiculous from Saturday to Wednesday. On Wednesday we had to go back home so the airplane people had to wake up earlier than the driving people (I was a person going home by car because I was only 30 minutes away from hotel and D.C.). One of my friends was an airplane person so she had to wake up earlier than me. I wanted to say goodbye to her but I was so tired I stayed in bed when they left. I was kinda sad cause I really liked her too. But I woke up a few hours later and waited with the rest of my friends for our parents to arrive. Now this Inauguration trip that I was talking about is this thing I was invited to called Jr Presidential Youth Inaugural Conference (JrPYIC). It brings select middle schoolers from all over the country to come see the Inauguration. I just happened to be a few minutes away though so it wasn't as enjoyable to me as other people but I did past my house so I pointed it out. Anyway that's my Inauguration trip story if you happened to go to that please leave a comment below or private message me (especially if you were in the Grover Cleveland group).
