@TheYaom No, her Spanish was not quite impeccable, and several things were not quite perfect. Like other have said here, she was prepared, and so the grammar was good. The point is, how many times do first ladies make even an effort to reach voters that speak other languages? So I applaud the simple fact she made that effort.

I have to say that up 'till now I've never thought of her as being particularly beautiful, myself, but I find myself changing my mind completely after seing her on this clip! Just a shame that she had such tragic experiences in her life...

I agree with you, I lived in Florida and most Cubans speak english with a VERY VERY STRONG CUBAN ACCENT! you can tell they are cubans from miles away!!!
SO IT'S FUNNY THAT THIS CUBAN GUY WOULD criticize her because of her accent, when her spanish was impecable, yes she has an accent, but she was understood and her use of the verbs and conjugations were perfect!!

@TheYaom - Again, this is prepared...memorized. More of a performance than anything else. She is not speaking spontaneously. Wives of presidents are always groomed and paraded around like cows. Frankly, I've never liked this woman. If you listen to that strange, little girl voice she uses, she's actually imitating Marolyn Monroe. What a bizarre human being. ...andy YOU are not Colombiano. @FrlghtWolf her spanish is great, I am Colombian and you can understand every single thing... granted she has a non-native accent but the way she speaks, conjugate the verbs and all is 100% correct!!!
