Good Lord he looks so different but still so extraordinarily hot. I own all the Hercules/ Xena dvds and Kevin Smith is just brilliant as Ares. So sad and unfortunate to lose him so young. You will be sorely missed Kevin, God Bless You † ♥

Kevin Smith....I'am going to miss this guy. He was one of the reasons I watched Xena. He had AMAZING chemistry with everyone too.
He will live on in our Xena DVDs! RIP Kevin, love ya forever.

I always found Ares extremely handsome and the perfect description of a man. Such a hunk! I just recently started watching Xena and wasn't aware that he's now dead. While I'm obsessed with the Xena/Gabrielle pairing, I'd also get a tingle whenever I see Xena and Ares together! They're so sexy together and I find Ares's devotion for Xena very charming.
Brad Pitt ain't got nothing on him! This dude is the sole definition of Sex appeal! R.I.P Kevin Smith a.k.a Ares

He died in 2000. He was shooing a movie in China. He did his own stunt on the Great Wall of China. The stunt failed and he hit his head hard and suffered internal brain trauma from excessive bleeding. Died in 2000.
