In April 2008, historian Benjamin Isitt visited the grave of Karl Marx in Highgate Cemetery, London, after travelling over land from Vladivostok, Russia.
@MrJohn12345678990 I can tell you've never read marx. How is Socialism dangerous? these are some of the things a communist firmly believes in: abolishment of war, free housing, free food, free education to any level, free healthcare, and above all a right to work and exploited. Under socialism a miner for example, is free to become a theoretical physicist if he so wishes and they'd have all of the resources to do so. A big face palm to you my ignorant friend.
Communism might have had some validity before globalisation. Now it is invalid and dangerous. The poor are far better off by working within capitalism.
@bondomaniak read marx before mixing it with your personal (i doubt you lived in a socialist regime.. you are not old enough) experiences... anyway.. don't repeat what your parents told you too... in my country we have the same thing... but i transcend that... now i think for my own... i have read Karl Marx... an it is mind opening.. you should try it too.
Karl Marx changed the world alright. He took monarchy, the best most evolved form of government known to man and replaced it with Darwinism, the theory of survival of the conqueror. Barbaric. Absolutely barbaric. Being too obese to work, himself, he wrote endless reams of material in a desperate attempt to make money glorifying mediocre popular ideas and coagulating them into a vast clot of unthinking balderdash. What a shame he's dead. I can't kick him in the face.
Greatest men ever??? Give me a break!!! This headstone is the very epicenter of the ash heap of history as described by the great Ronald Reagan when commenting on the abject failure of communism. I salute the pidgins that land on his statue and take a dump on his head. Now that's a fitting tribute to Karl Marx!

@1emanres Nothing of what you just wrote is true, how on earth did you come up with that?

@bondomaniak For an example, Adolph Hitler was not marxist...

He inspired the biggest murderers and tirans in modern history. He can be admired only in those countries that didn't have socialist regimes.
If British had faced it too they would remove this grave and throw the ashes into the Thames.
