bit.ly/sfb2012 for more. The 2012 Line Sir Francis Bacon ski has been completely re-designed by Eric for a level of quickness & versatility previously considered impossible in this width, yet with enough float to be worthy of Pollard's name. Its new break through lower Early Rise™ tip geometry PLANES INSTEAD OF PLOWS in the pow, while the length of Early Taper™ has actually been reduced vs. past years to put much more Active Edge™ length in contact with the snow for MORE GRIP & LESS SLIP. The Bacon's new smooth reliable flex pattern feels like an extension of your feet, literally carving on a dime as well as it can float in the powder. This is the next level of Pollard approved fun, for everywhere on the mountain.

  • People have been saying this ski is to skinny for powder, but who are you going to listen to 13 year olds on Newschoolers, or Mr. Eric Pollard?

  • I've been watching line's videos since march and it's been killing me knowing that I can't ski til november...

  • where does eric pollard mount his bindings on the sir francis bacon?

  • i got mine 4 christmas and i'm loving them they go every where i can even take them in to the park and still have a great time

  • @JibbersOfTheNorth Cheers man

  • @FallenRaee people are really bias when it comes to skis but what i would recommend is a medium flex ski that is 84-94 in the waist that should give you a ski that might not be ideal for every condition but will decently handle them all...Line Chronics, Surface Doubletimes(super stiff though), Armada ARV, Line Afterbangs(super soft flex), BlueHouse Antics...really its hard to say and all up to the skiers preference...best recommendation is to demo a couple different styles of skis

  • Hey Ski guru's, I've just starting out skiing, been renting for a while and really liking it so far, and I'm now looking to buy my own, but don't have a clue when it comes down to gear. I don't know if I prefer Power, park etc, still getting a taste for it all. Is there some kind of ski which is an all rounder? Then maybe that could keep me going until I really know what I like.
