River Tweed. Fishing the Blue Winged Olive Spinner fall. The Tweed on a July evening is magical when the BWO is on. Sometimes it can be a frustrating hatch to get right with an imitation. This night it went just right, they keyed in on spent spinners and I had a pattern that got me a few fish that evening.

  • This spot hasn't changed in the 40 years that I have fished it. Why would you think it would change? Same croys, Same large rock that diverts the flow. Some trees gone, new ones growing. I'll be fishing it again this year. Have a good season.
