I started by tearing apart an old PS/2 keyboard. I then soldered wires to each of the 27 connector pins on the keyboard, which was not an easy task! Once this was compleate i wired each of the 27 wires into a point on the terminal strip. After i did this i got the peices of plastic inside the keyboard and then located each of the points i needed to emulate a key on the keyboard.

Then i wired the on/off switch to emulate the Ctrl key being held down when i switch is set to on,
After this i wired each of the two momentary push buttons to the letters T and U.
So when the switch is set to on and i push either one of the buttons it emulates the keyboard strokes:
Ctrl + U or Crtl + T

If you have any question please leave them in the comment section.
Thanks!

  • Thats so awesome :D I wish im a techwiz to built one like that :S

  • @NightSpiritz

Its actually quite easy to build, it only took me about 5 or 6 hours to make. It was just hard solder the wires to the keyboard chip, there was only a 2mm gap (if that) betweeen each contact.

  • @SSKtobbe

I get the same problem using two USB devices, both recognising X and Y axis the same on each.

    Did you find a solution?

  • @SSKtobbe It should work if the computers are running sepratly rom each other, just using a network to communicate however im not sure if it would work in flight simulator.
