Not only the new John Williams, but probably the closest thing to the new John Barry. Check out The Incredibles score to hear what I'm talking about.

John Barry? Not a bad composer, but I honestly struggle to tell the difference between "Dances with Wolves" and "Out of Africa" by music alone, and "Enigma" is dangerously close to both in terms of style, orchestration, speed, etc. Giacchino and Williams are more musical than Barry, in my humble opinion. The Incredibles soundtrack, I agree... was incredible. :D

I heard the whole album and I can confirm that the last track is actually the end credits because it presents a summary of the themes of the score assembled in a manner not perfect in my opinion. The arrangement of "Dejah's Theme" is entirely in the track, while the arrangement of the main theme is present only partially.

So if it is not the end credits I think that the two arrangements of the two main themes will not be on the album. But I hope that they will be released via iTunes or similar.

From what heard in clips released these two arrangements of "John Carter's Theme" and "Dejah's Theme" will not be in that album.

The only question is whether it will be contained in the long final track, "John Carter of Mars", which I think are the end credits.

Pieces of this sound like they're derived from Williams' Empire of the Sun score.
